The five topics on the art of sea war discussed in this book can give a vivid illustration that the art of war as taught by Sun Tzu in the 5^th century BC, can also be applied at the war in sea operational field. Actually, there are still many principles, bases as well as the war behaviors written by Sun Tzu in his book that has already been translated into English, “The Art of War” that can be dug up to be applied into the art of sea war. For example, Sun Tzu mentioned three areas in land that were not allowed to be approached and even they had to be immediately left out in high speed.

Seemingly, the power of air weaponry is not separated from one to each other, either to be used for the land power or for the sea power. These two powers, the land or the sea power, can be the power that can easily be destroyed whenever they have no sufficient air protection. On the contrary, however, the air power only cannot be used to conquer and control the enemy’s territory, the land or its waters.
